Governance and ethics

The Scientific Advisory Board convened for Natsal-3 includes representatives from the Department of Health's Research and Development and Policy groups, non-governmental agencies whose work is concerned with sexual health, and academic researchers. Representatives from each of the funding organisations are present as observers.

Members of the Advisory Board review progress and advise on methodological and ethical aspects of the study, as well as plans for dissemination and policy and community needs.

The Advisory Board is chaired by Professor Anna Glasier. The members are:
